The boots need to provide a measurement for the calf area. I could only zip my boot up part way. They look exactly like the provided picture. I had to send them back.

Great boot, I was worried about the size fitting my calf after reading the other posts but size 13m easily fit my size 15 1/2 calf nice and snug

These boots are just flat-out awesome! They are especially skintight around the calves (more so if you try them on after walking). And while quite stylish you may want to get some non-skid pads for the bottom soles and, if dancing for hours on end, get some insoles.
These are my favorite boots. They do get noticed and go great with other black and shiny apparel.

If you are looking for a retro patent leather go-go boot, that is exactly what you will get. I got these boots to complete a 60's outfit, and they were the perfect look and fit. They are cut for a slender leg, however, and might not work for everyone. True to size. A great bargain for the price.
