Frankly, I am amazed that SASSIE-02, Mary Jane Canvas Shoe is SO comfortable. Buying clothing and shoes on the internet is an iffy proposition, especially when I am so particular about my shoes. However, I must be particular because of my fibromyalgia. Wearing an ill-fitting shoe or even one that might feel good initially but becomes like lead on my feet, produces an interior screaming pain which moves into my hip joints then down into my legs. I find myself moaning outloud at times, becoming that little old lady I've always dreaded becoming.
I have so many shoes in my closet that I bought, even after walking all around the try-on area over and over, taking off and putting back on, trying to foresee into the future when the shoe would begin to plague me. I have luck with some brands, then one day, they become torture instruments to my feet and legs.
I've worn the Demonia Mary Janes once, but all day. At the end of the time after I opened the door to my house, I left them on, not realizing they were on. Normally, I kick off my shoes immediately, but these are so light and comfortable, and toe-roomy!!
I have those long toes, you know, the ones that stick out beyond the edge of a rounded shoe tip. But these Mary Janes have room and then some.
When I took them out of the package and saw how light the sole is, I thought, oh no, I won't even make it through a day. But the lightness makes me think that those heavy rubber soles I always choose might be the culprit. I had NO problem with these shoes. Sheer comfort!!
One thing that detracts (but for which I am not taking off a point) is that the straps were too long and I had to cut them off to prevent dragging on the ground. I also had to stick a new hole in the strap. No big deal.
Just as with any shoe, it's an individual thing. These shoes work 100% for me and I plan to get one more pair.
By the way do you switch shoes every day? I was once told that shoes need to breathe and have a day off after each wear both for shoe maintenance and foot rest.

I now own 4 pairs of these shoes. 3 different colors. They are semi dressy and I can wear them eight hours and not have sore feet. They are like slippers! I love them.

These shoes are so very cute and what I was looking for except they run a half size too small. I wear an 11 and these are definitely not size 11 as stated. I knew this could happen so I'm not horribly disappointed, just a little bummed and will be sending them back asap.

I loved these shoes until I came home from work (the fist day I wore them) and the insoles of the shoes came off. The bottom of my feet were sticky with the glue that held them in place. I don't wear them much anymore. I am very dissapointed in the quality of these shoes.

These shoes are adorable. They run a tad bit tight, but I think they will stretch out after a few wearings. Very, very cute shoes!
