5SEDUCE SPIKE ANGEL BOOTMar 06, 2008
By Latoya Zenovia Lewis Cole "LaToya Cole "lcole""
I originally ordered a size 11 and it was to small, their shoes run in a smaller size than what I usually wear. I returned it for a size 12 and they fit great. Great product, good shipment, and good customer service.

4Cheap & TrendyNov 26, 2010

With these boots, what you see is what you get. They look the same in person as the advertisement pictures. I think they are a good buy for the cheap price. I normally would buy much more expensive boots that are higher quality but I bought these boots because I was on a mad search to find boots that would fit my skinny calves- these fit the bill. I am 5ft. 3in. exactly with a 12 inch calf circumference at the widest part. According to zappos.com, these boots have a 13.25 inch circumference. The top and front of the boot hits right below my knee cap and there is about an inch or less of room at the top when I am wearing these with bare legs. It looks a little gappy but not too bad. These boots do not seem like stretch boots at all but I have the patent ones so maybe that is why. Maybe the non-patent polyurethane boots would be more stretchy? I have not worn them with jeans yet but I bet they would fit fine with a pair of very skinny jeans or jeggings. If you have wide calves, these are not the boots for you. I would certainly measure your calf before purchasing any tall boots- I have learned through trial and error that this is essential before buying tall boots online. The shaft height is also very important to note. I have bought tall boots that were not supposed to be over that knee but ended up covering half of my knee cap, looking just wrong and awkward. So measure before you guy. These boots have 5 inch heel (it says 4 inches on zappos.com, 16 inch shaft height) but when you have them on, they do not look much higher than your typical high heel boot. I wore these to work with some black tights and an almost to the knee skirt and braced myself for comments that my boots looked like stripper boots. To my surprise, no one said anything about them at all, which means that these are OK to wear out in the day as well as night time. As far as the sizing goes, I usually wear a size 7 and I also always wear boots with a pair of socks to make them more comfortable (even if I am wearing nylons). I was disappointed that these boots do not come in half sizes, as my left foot is almost a half size bigger than my right. Nevertheless, I still ordered a size 7 and they fit pretty well. I think if I ordered a size up, they might have been too big- maybe. These are not the most comfortable boots I've owned so I would recommend getting a size that is large enough that you can wear a normal sock with. If you wear a half size, size up- i.e. if you wear a 7.5, buy an 8. I was able to wear them to work, so for about 9 hours total, without any problems. I would recommend this boot for costume attire and for normal wear as well.

4really good value...Mar 15, 2010

I've seen a lot of Pleaser products over the years, and maybe its just old age, but these boots seem like they've upped their game. The overall construction is good, the materials are fairly substantial, and the sizing is more reliable. I have fairly slender calves, and when worn over a pair of skinny jeans, they zip up snugly. Keeping in mind that you shouldn't be expecting fine hand-craftsmanship, these are a really good value for what you pay...perfect for clubbing, and occasional nights out.
