 Nice shoes but not as good as they look onlineMay 13, 2011

I really love these shoes except for one thing. The glitter comes off them very easily. They are fine for limited wear, but I wouldn't recommend them for extended wear. Every time you touch them more glitter comes off which is very disappointing and annoying. I'd recommend them for use for something like a Halloween costume. But they are definitely not for everyday wear.

well, these shoes were a gift from a slave so I can't be too picky as they just showed up on my doorstep and all I had to do was pick them out.. I do love them, but I was disappointed that the shoes themselves are not really red on the outside.. they are white shoes covered in red glitter, so naturally tiny little parts of the white shoes show through. I imagine as they are worn, more glitter will continue to flake off.. I don't understand why the company couldn't just use red shoes as the base.. seems like a no-brainer, but oh well I will find a lovely shade of ruby red slipper glitter nail polish to patch them up if it becomes a bigger issue. I love them, but thought people should be informed of this and maybe the company will realize they've had a brain all along like the scarecrow and start using red shoes instead of white as the base!!

I'm 6'2 185lbs and wear a size 12 to 13 in men's shoes, so I was worried that the size 14 may be a bit small for me, but not only do they fit well, but they're very comfortable. The thicker heal allows me to dance around without much instability, and is the perfect addition to a Wizard of Oz themed costume. At 6'2 though, the height of these heals makes me even taller and my roommate suggested that I may be "monstrously tall" so if you don't want to add a lot of height, these may not be for you. The glitter also tends to snag any fuzz or hair around, so if you have a cat, you may want to avoid it once you have these on, or you'll very quickly have cat-hair shoes.

I absolutely LOVE these shoes!!! They look great, they are comfortable and the price is awesome. If you want to wear high heels, but have trouble with achy feet and not being used to heels, these are great starters! Comfortable and not wobbly!

I got these in red, after debating whether or not I should get the black with the hopes of wearing them more than once.
I suppose that some people find these shoes very obnoxious, especially on a girl who is plenty tall without them, but... I find them to be delightful. You would not think that they are as comfortable as they are. The only place I might want a bit of extra padding is in the bottom of the arches. These are very easy to move in, whether walking or dancing.
Did I mention that they are hot? Because they are very hot. If you wear high heels regularly, these are appropriate for more occasions that you would think. They seem like they would be strictly costume or fetish, but they look fine in a club, a semi-formal setting or under jeans or slacks for casual wear. If you are good at balancing your outfits and understand when you should and should not have a matching dress for these, you will probably get a good deal of use out of them. Try them with your little black dress: they can be a whole new level of spicy.
