Its okOct 30, 2011
By Maurice Alban The Helmet is extremely flimsy and the wings attach by small round velcro attachments. When put together it feels like the wind will just blow it all apart. On the other hand it is the most affordable Thor helmet out there and with the most detailed. If you want to make it better, I suggest you beef it up as I did. I used a glue gun to glue the two pieces of the Helmet together. Then I carved out exact molds of the shapes of the wings out of a card board box. (any cardboard box will do, as long as its not super thick) You cannot tell that much from the picture but the back side of the wing attachments are hallow and empty. I inserted the cardboard pieces here and used the glue gun to glue it together and add some weight to it. Inside the helmet piece are a few hallow deep ridges that in no way touch the head, its just for the outside design part of the helmet, here i put in some play-doe and sealed it with a thin layer of glue from the glue gun. I let it cool off and harden. I added some play-doe to some of the hallow parts of the wing attachments as well for extra weight as well and stability. I finally used the glue gun to glue the wings to the helmet piece and used a hefty amount of glue. I made sure that it will look in a way like welds. Then when all the pieces were dry I painted the glue parts with metallic paint. It matched the color of the helmet and looked like if the pieces were welded on together. The helmet is now extremely sturdy, has more weight and will last 5 times as long. This all cost me about $10 extra. Instead of metallic paint you can use one of those metallic sharpie markers instead if your not willing to put in the money for the paint. It will be worth it in the long haul because I seriously doubt Marvel will make new helmets that are more sturdy. Hope this helps.

RIP OFFSep 30, 2011
By Supertrini This helmet is a rip off. At least the seller could mention it's cheap, plastic , put together construction and not a complete hard plastic piece. The pieces don't even line up properly and would not last a halloween party. I will NOT recommend anyone to buy this unless they want to waste some money.

Absolute Garbage!!!Sep 02, 2011
By Pumpkin Man This helmet looks cool but in fact is a complete rip-off and should never be bought. It's 4 very cheap thin plastic pieces that velcro together. You'd be better off with the hard plastic helmet that Walmart sales. I would NOT recommend this THOR HELMET!!!

DisappointmentNov 13, 2011
By VinderCo Leather This product was not accurately described when I purchased it. If you want to use this as a one time thing for a young child's birthday party, it should meet your needs. However, if you want something fairly durable and a relatively authentic, DO NOT purchase this item. The plastic it is made out of is flimsier than that of a milk carton and it comes in FOUR pieces that VELCRO together. There is a front and back half and the two wwinged sides. The velcro doesn't even completely line up where it is supposed to. Overall, this costume piece was a great disappointment and a piece of junk. Save yourself the hassle of returning this item by not purchasing it in the first place.
This is a prop.May 11, 2012

Not a Viking helm to take into battle! People are complete idiots. I'm not sure what in the heck others are doing with this. I bought this in spite of them. I just wanted a cheap prop and it works just fine for that. I may superglue the pieces together to form a stronger bond, and may use it for a mold to create my own helmet in the future. It's perfect for that. It is made out of thin plastic and has velcro tabs to hold stuff together. It could be put together better I agree. I seriously cannot believe people spend 20 something dollars and expect a something of outstanding craftmanship and quality. It's a toy. Treat is as such. If you want to go around head butting people. Buy a football helmet or go to a blacksmith. If you have some level of intellegence, treat this as a gag gift or party favor. I think I'm more concerned about the people that bought this for impact sports then the quality of the helmet. Right, so go buy a Batman Halloween outfit, jump off a building, and write in one star because you injuried yourself out of stupidity. I'll sit back enjoy my movie prop, drink meade and make fun of the rest of you. For Asgard!
