Got this item for an employee party. As part of a couple with him wearing the gladiator outfit.
The white part of this dress is almost completely see-through. Didn't feel very comfortable with that.
And I had to order an X-Large after reading the chart. The dress got here and was still very small. It looked like it was "altered" by adding white at the bottom to make it "longer" for an X-Large. Just about fitted into the dress, and I'm not very much bigger than the woman in the picture shown...
I had to use the drapery around the arm to cover the white part of the dress.
Other than that it was a hit!
Good price for what I needed it for :))

I completely disagree with the other two reviews. It fit me perfectly and it was my normal size. It may have been a little see through, but only if you wear the wrong panties. Seamless and skin-tone, and you can't see them at all.
For the price, it was really well made! I was surprised!!
I found the draping bit over the arm a bit annoying, so I ended up stitching it to the side just under the bust. A two second job, but it looked great!
I loved this costume. I thought it was great & look forward to using it again in the future!

Have to agree with the other customer. The length is okay, I normally wear size M and ordered XL since I wanted it to be flowing.. No flowing just very tight and the white part really is see through. The size might be XL in China but not in any Western country.

This costume is beautiful. The arm bands were too small for my arms. The two medallions that go on the shoulders had very weak safety pins and bent when I tried to poke them through the fabric. Easy remedy is to have your own safety pins. Very nice fabric.

UPDATE: The dye did come out after washing with detergent and booster in cold water, enough for my daughter to wear confidently. I am now giving it 3.5 stars, and will say it is decent value for the money paid.
In addition to my comments below, this costume drapes nicely over a light t-shirt (for modesty). Also, my daughter is 5'4" and the hem needs to be taken up a couple of inches as it drags on the floor. If you're average height, it should be fine.
ORIGINAL COMMENTS: I bought this for my daughter for Purim, which is in a few days. It just arrived and I am disappointed. The white portions of the dress are stained pink from the red dye. Unfortunately, I don't have time to exchange this item, and I have no guarantee that another one will not arrive in the same condition, so I am going to try washing it for her. I'm giving it 2 stars, because it's made of heavier fabric than I anticipated. I will update my review after washing it.
