 Comfortable and good fit...Nov 26, 2011

I have wanted a pair of these since I was a little kid...I saw these and thought...I am not getting any younger, why not? It is hard to find anything is a size 14, much less anything that fits right! Well I am glad I took a chance, these fit so well, and they are so light, that you don't even know they are there once you have had them on for awhile. They seem pretty well made, but I am guessing they are probably seconds...let me explain...the faux suede upper has what feels like a vinyl type backing(the inside of the boot upper)that it is glued and sewn to. There were quite a air bubbles all over the upper boot where the faux suede and vinyl backing wasn't sealed together properly, and this results in a wrinkled look all over...maybe they aren't seconds, maybe quality control has some issues? Anyway, why it doesn't look that good when you hold the boot up and look at it, it isn't really that noticeable when you are wearing it, so I opted to just keep them instead of hoping they could get me a pair that didn't have it. Although I got these for a halloween costume, they are well enough made that you can wear them whenever you want. I have worn them out to the store a few times...it is fun to watch peoples reactions. I am glad I bought them. If I were to change something about them, it would be the lower 3-4 lacings which I would make enclosed instead of open ones which I would keep for the upper lacings. The reason is you basically have to re-lace the entire boot every time you put it on because the laces just fall off once you loosen them.

I bought these boots for a costume but they are high enough in quality to be worn anytime. I was pleasantly suprised! They were also shipped quickly. I'm a happy customer.

I recommend this site but do not recommend spikelady. I ordered my husband and I a pair to match same boot but this site did follow through quickly. Packaged well and exactly as described.
