When I saw these boots on Amazon.com I was wondering about the bottom of it. last boots I bought the booth was so smooth that I had to be very careful when I walk or else I'll slip and fall. But these boots are PERFECT. the bottom is not smooth and it is like as if you bought construction boots. very good quality of what I think its Fake Leather or is it leather? I'm not sure but i like these boots. will be serve well for Darth Vader's boots, Batman's Boots, etc. now if only they come in Red, that'll make my superman outfit look good too. recommended for people who love boots.

Boots were high quality and very comfortable. I like the fact that it has a zipper on the inner side of the boot so it is easier to get them on and off without your foot getting stuck and keeping the zipper somewhat hidden. Highly recommended.

I got mine in and love them. Good quality made. Mine will be used for steam punk outfit conventions, so not daily use. I am a size 9.5 so I ordered the 10. they where a bit big and uncomfortable. I placed in some shoe inserts and haven't had a problem since. I also have large calfs and have no problem with the fit.

The boots are awesome but i need a size 15 and the boot size X-Large is said to cover that size ( nope ) I contacted the seller and couldn't ever get a response !....

When I first saw these advertised at Amazon, I was sceptical because normally I never buy footwear through a website, just brick & mortar it like most people. But I took a chance and was impressed not only with the craftsmanship but also how really comfortable they are. And what's even more impressive, they're the real deal. They're real boots. It's not just costume gear. And it's straight out of Batman Begins or the Dark Knight. They're perfect if you're modifying and/or putting together a Batsuit. I highly recommend this company for your next costume party.
