Whether or not you're into gothic styles, these boots work great. The buckles are solid and the zippers don't snag. Also, they're high enough to reach almost halfway up your lower leg, halfway to the knee. They work great for me.

I purchased these boots for my wife for Christmas. They are well built. Sturdy construction, but could use better boot laces. All in all my wife is very pleased with her new boots.
