Great looking shoes... But some side problemsJul 17, 2009
By S. R. Hochbaum Well, to start off with, I purchased these shoes in Black PU size 6 (I am normally size 5.5)
They were GREAT looking. I put them on and they were slightly uncomfortable. The zipper rubs against the back of the calf, so I would recommend high socks or wearing jeans underneath them, which isn't a big deal. However, I needed to walk in these a certain way, or because of the inch difference from the heel to the toe, my toes would JAM down and it would be slightly painful.
Whatever, still, I would have given them 4 stars.
What really took the stars down was that the first time I wore them out, the buckles once got caught on another. One of them snapped in half, flying god knows where (I looked around) and leaving the leather strap flying loose, the shoe looser. Upon further inspection I looked inside and it looks as though the buckles are made of plastic and coated with some sort of silver paint.
I'm sorry, but this seems unacceptable that I paid $60 for boots that break upon 10 minutes of wear. I am contacting the seller and seeing if they can provide any reimbursement.

I ordered these boots for my 20 year old daughter for Christmas and she LOVES them! They are just like in the picture and good quality. She's been wanting this type of boot style for a long time and is just crazy about them! She says they are comfortable and she wears them often.

Zombie-proof BOOTSOct 03, 2008

I LOVE THESE BOOTS TO DEATHH.
I ordered the Dark Cherry PU, thinking it was just a plain glossy black, but I didn't expect it to have the reddish tinge it does. Not a con, for me, but more detailed photos would have been nice.
They're VERY cheap, for boots like these, and the quality reflects that. One of my buckles is half-broken, and the material does not seem too durable. I have no other complaints so far, though, after having owned them for a few months. They seem like they should stand up well enough to zombie attacks.
They're quite difficult to get used to walking in at first, if you aren't used to such high platforms, but it gets much easier after the first couple days to the point of them barely being noticeable. The description isn't to clear on this, but the platform itself is 3". It is 4 1/2" at the heel. The heel itself is only 1 1/2". These boots are also surprisingly comfortable, but arch support, as always, would have made them much better. When they're on your feet, they look quite a bit more feminine than one might think. The buckles cinch all the way up to be small enough for even MY legs.

Great reasonably-priced optionDec 07, 2011
By Cat Stormcrow I bought these as an alternative to getting New Rocks, mainly because the lower price meant I could actually afford them without months of sizing. They're pretty decent pleather, have creased slightly at the ankle so I'd recommend getting something to keep the shape of them. They were quite tight in the calf and loose in the ankle when they arrived, but the adjustable buckles mean that I could adjust them to fit my leg shape pretty much perfectly. The only minor complain I have is that they're a wee bit long in the foot. I'm usually a size 8 exactly so ordered that, so would recommend if you're in the smaller region of your size you might want to go down one size. I did solve it by putting a sock in each toe, though, and it's perfectly comfortable. And despite my mother's protests, they're perfectly easy and comfortable to walk and even run in if needed.

Not What I'd Hoped, But Still NiceMar 02, 2011
By Carol Kye The boots arrived very soon after I ordered them, and I was pleased with the packaging. However, the picture makes it look as though the buckles lie flat, when they actually flare out individually. Also, the wear and tear set in after just a week of wearing them. The zipper began to get caught, and the sole inside the shoe literally peeled off and curled under my foot, making them very uncomfortable. Overall, I love the boots, but they definitely weren't worth $72.00. To sum it all up, if you're considering investing a lot of money into these boots, I would advise you find a cheap pair, because the material is not durable and they aren't very well-made.
